iMesh Light

Seems avast does not support iMesh Light P2P program. Is it true? Also developers says that it’s free of spyware and other pests. Is it safe (more or less) to use? Thanks.

P2P applications are never safe to use.

There are several reports that say Imesh light is crashing a lot.

yep eddy is right… if you get a song from a P2P application it could be dangerous!

I’m not a P2P fan and I know what it’s risky to use them. Changed iMesh Light, as I was recommended to use LimeWire and it’s supported by avast P2P provider. Just now I really need to find one program, so P2P is the last chance… :-\

Hi YLAP,

There are other ways to look for specific software than P2P.
Orientate on specific software search engines or search solutions. Everything that is out on the net can be found, if only you know where to look for it. Nothing goes into virtual oblivion. Go here for info: http://www.searchlores.org and to their message board, you’ll get a reply.

Thanks Tech, I’ve already tried it!

How about SHAREAZA , it connects to many different networks and it doesn’t contain any spyware

Guys, (especially those of you in the US) Please dont use those file sharing networks.
Instead use a paid service like Rhapsody, iTunes or Napster.
Free music is tempting but if you are caught the fines you may have to pay are not small at all (and yes I used to use the OS X version of limewire until all this lawsuit stuff came up and i stated using iTunes)
