So I ran a full system scan and when it finished I had 1075 infected files. I tried all the options apart from Do Nothing and there is no way for them to be deleted.

That file is part of Realtek and required for your system.
Read this > http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=14433.0 get the logs and wait for a malware remover to check your logs.
Don’t delete anything unless told to.
They are all related to the same file which as stated belongs to realtek
Upload the file as a false positive
So one tells me to fill out the questions and one to report as false negative. What do you mean get the logs?
No requirement for any logs as this is a false positive
Open Avast and go to the virus chest
Right click on the white space and select add
Navigate to C:\windows\swusb.exe and select that
Once it is in the chest then right click the file and select “send to virus labs”
Select False Positive
Fill in the small form and manually update to send it
The search doesn’t bring up the file.
