Hi,

-pause avast shield

  • open Thunderbird Emailprogramm, and delete the messages with the above Subjects/dates
  • empty TB trash and COMPACT all mail-folders
  • reenable avast shield
  • rescan with bitdefender

Don’t you use avast mailscanner ?

Ok… first things first … yes i do use the mail scanner… thats how i knew it was in email… but it couldnt repair/delete and what not… so i did delete the emails from my inbox/trash/ compact folders… but i also wanted to be on safe side… so did the BitDefender online scan… and it still pics up teh emails… even tho i havent got them in any of my mail boxes from with in thunderbird…

pause avast-shield and other avast resident (mail)scanners, and then search/delete/compact/compress again

or they are still on your mailbox on the mailserver, or it’s some local copy or or…

please read your Thunderbird docu/help/faq on how to delete/compact properly (don’t have TB myself)
