Well I decided to download Malwarebytes so I’ll have more protection. I did a scan with Avast and everything came back normal.
Then I ran Malwarebytes…
It detected 2 infections, one in a file and the other in the registry. They are (Hijack.DisplayProperties) in the registry, and (Trojan.Agent) in a file.
Attached below is the Malwarebytes and OTL logs.
I’m not experiencing any problems, I just found the infections in a weekly scan.
I’m running with a Windows 7 64-bit OS.
I"m just making sure my system is clean so nothing does start to happen.
It would seem that questions about Malwarebytes “Detection(s)” would be
more appropiately asked on the Malwarebytes Support Forums at http://forums.malwarebytes.org , starting in their “General Malwarebytes’
Anti-Malware Forum” !? Perhaps you should start with using their “Search”
for those 2 “Detections” !?
No idea what pv.exe is. Try extracting it from quarantine and sending it to VirusTotal for analysis. (This will allow avast! and other AV’s to add the detection if it is real.) Post the results here then we can give you more information.
