ini:shortcut-inf [trj] Virus

Just carried out a full scan with Avast to find that it’s yet again found another virus…the last one being reported as a false positive. This one is ini-shortcut-inf(trj) which was reported in a page I had saved to my favourites area quite a while ago “Idiots guide to wireless internet - sheffield forum.url”. In fact it’s also being reported in an old drive file which is where the contents of my last pc were placed in 2010.

Is this another FP? I’ve never had any bother with Avast for over 2 years and within that time it’s only reported around 5 viruses including two reported in the last week, one of which was reported as a false positive. What is going on? I’m visiting the same sites as always and I am very careful when opening emails and very rarely open any links unless they are important and expected.

Is anyone else finding more viruses after Avast scans?

Hi Pondus

Have searched through my files and favourites but can’t find it, would Avast have moved it? This is what’s in the Avast virus chest: Idiots Guide to Wireless internet [Archive] - Sheffield Forum.url

Thanks
