I am using thunderbird as my email client, It doesn’t seem to insert message into outgoing and incoming clean mail, hoe do I change this? thanks for any respond in advance.
Generally I don’t use them certainly not for inbound as you get an alert and the subject line is modified, but insertion into outbound email provides a little promotion for avast.
Just tested it with insert into outbound & inbound email and sent an email to another account and then received it.
The insert note works as expected one for outbound and one for inbound.
I did that and check two accounts and both blank, what will the expert settings be in Avast?
Mail Shield, Expert Settings, Behavior tab, by default I believe those insertions are disabled. So unless you enabled them they wouldn’t be present.
Thanks again, both boxes are checked and I hope this enables it but still nothing, not a biggie but just wanted to know because it always showed with other mail clients
Is the avast Mail Shield actually scanning your email ?
If you still have SSL settings enabled in thunderbird it can’t intercept your email to scan (or insert the note) or your email is web-based and you are using a thunderbird add-on to download them ?
Have you got any thunderbird add-on, if so what ?
