installed Avast and in the end it told me i have "Antivir desktop"...

…and what i should remove it.

but i don’t have no “Antivir desktop”. i even run Avira registry remover to be sure, and still Avast tells me that

i suppose i have virus of some kind, but that’s not really Avast problem, is it?

maybe essexboy can solve your problem if you attach some diagnostic logs

see instructions here https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0
scroll down to second picture Farbar Recovery Scan Tool … run as instructed and attach the two diagnostic logs in next reply here

see below the box you write in … Attachments and other options

it will be some hours before essexboy is online, usually after work hours european time

thank you

apparently i have

AntiVir Desktop (Enabled - Up to date)
Windows Defender (Enabled - Up to date)

don’t remember installing them and they don’t show in list of windows programs

It looks like it failed to remove itself from security centre
