Internet connection

My internet connection keeps dropping and I have trouble reconnecting. Diagnostics say that DSN is not available. Other devices on the network are not experiencing this problem.Has been happening?

Sometimes I experience this problem too. When the Windows Network Diagnostics ends, it says that the DNS server is not available. In the meantime my mobile phone, which is connected to the same network as the computer, has access to the Internet. If I try to restart my computer and to boot Avast Secure Browser, the internet connection is recovering. You can try the same.

Thank you for responding user960! Yes, I am having the exact same experience except it can take multiple times turning W-iFi off/on in Settings and or rebooting the laptop. It can happen multiple times an hour and is very frustrating not to mention time consuming! I really need to find the root of this problem and fix it!

An additional note: this is only happening on my laptop (Lenovo), none of our other devices are having this problem including my husband’s laptop and our cells. This makes me think it is related to an Avast application update!
