Internet mail does not insert notes

Hi,
I successfully installed Avast 4.8 home but it
does not insert notes in my inbound emails.
Although I checked Scan inbound mail and insert note
into clean message.
Moreover when I did the same for outbound message
my Windows mail gave me error when it tried to send
message.

System Windows Vista 64
Email Windows email

Please help

Don’t forget that you will not see the inserted note in the ‘Sent Items’ folder of your mail program,
because avast adds the note after the mail leaves the mail program.

Which is your email program?
Which is your email provider: GMail?
