Internet not working after upgrading to Avast Pro 5.0.

My internet is not working after this installation. Firefox says it is an issue with the firewall settings, however, when I adjust the level of security on the Avast firewall it still does not work. I’ve tried turning my modem on and off as well as restarting my computer over and over. Thanks

??? Well, Avast! Pro has no firewall, but you say you have an “Avast!” firewall?

So do you have Avast Internet Security, not Pro?

Please consider reinstalling from scratch. Download a complete installer of avast! Internet Security here. Next, make sure you have your copy of license file. If you had it backed-up, proceed to uninstall your current version of avast.

After that, restart your PC and install your new copy of avast!. Please tell us if this works.
