I reinstalled avast after trying AVG7.5 but I keep receiving the attached error. How can I get rid of it?
Why do you think this was caused by removing AVG 7.5 and installing avast?
Isn’t your settings for scripts messed into the browser options?
Are your Windows fully updated?
1- no relation between AVG & this problem.
2- Internet options>Internet zone security set to medium.
3- Windows is fully updated.
isn’t it the time for avast to get rid of this IE related issues ?

Because this is an .chm/.htm file it uses Internet Explorer to display the page and a default setting in the Internet Explorer Options is to debug scripts.
Personally I would disable the script debugging in IE Options, see image.
it’s already disabled in mt IE ???
