I have now got rid of Iobit 360 security and advanced system care although neither gave me problems.Its just I trust MBAM more.I have been using Auslogics disk defrag for a while now with no problem.

Nevertheless, IObit did subsequently remove all of Malwarebytes’ definitions from their database (thereby cutting their database size by ~40% in one fell swoop). Though we did not receive an apology from them, nor any official acknowledgment of their theft, this reaction speaks for itself. Removal of our intellectual property was what we wanted, and we therefore consider that we have won. We thank the community, online media outlets and our partners for their support in helping us achieve this favorable result.

Indeed, no iObit products in our computers anymore.

It goes to show what people power can do in boycotting a product.If everyone had said they were not bothered I doubt if Iobit would have done this.It also shows that MBAM were right to get the story out.

I have never used them and personally after this I never will. There really are plenty of applications out there that will do the same across the whole IObit range, that don’t have this stigma hanging over them to choose a different company.
