Is Avast compatible with Superantispyware and Spybot S&D?

I’m running ver. 5.0.418 of Avast. My latest custom scan picked up 4 threats that all seem to come from these other 2 programs. Three from Superantispyware and one from Spybot’s Teatimer. I assume they’re false positives. Would this be correct and should I just ignore? Also, are these two programs (I’m also running Spyware Blaster) in any way interfering with Avast’s ability to perform at 100%? Lastly, if so, would there be better choices to run alongside Avast than those that I’m currently using?
I’m new here so any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and peace!

I don’t think it is a good idea to have the real time shield of both Superantispyware and Spybot switched on at the same time…

If you think of any files as False Positives then submit it to Virus Total to validate it

Spyware blaster works perfectly because it doesn’t have any realtime shield

You may think about Immunet

www.immunet.com

Works fine beside Avast

I was just looking in Spyboot forum, and what program do you think the Tech guy was using for removal…jepp Malwarebytes Antimalware… ;D

:o :o :o

;D ;D ;D

re: Chris Thomas - I should have been clearer insofar that the version of Superantispyware I’m running is the free version which does not offer any real time protection. I am running the Resident Shield and Tea timer in Spybot S & D which does offer real time protection.

Then you are fine!

Check your files with Virus Total if they are really false positives

If i am remebering correct ther was some issues with avast and S&D tea timer
i would replase S&D with Malwarebyte Antimalware

Thanks for everyone’s responses. I found the suggestions and provided links very helpful.
Peace!

I have never had any problems with any of Spybot’s components with neither 4v nor 5v of avast.
