Is Avast Team letting know about the result of submited false positive?

Hi!
Quick question. I recently submitted a file through Avast interface on PC that I believe is a false positive detection. I sent a file (it’s a video game installer, exe file, from original DVD version of the game) to analyse and I’m wondering if they will somehow let me know after the analysis what is the result? Sorry for my English,

They don’t reply directly - but it should be checked within 48 hours. If it is found to be a False Positive then it should be removed from the Virus Definitions Database.

If 48 hours have past, try scanning the file again. It may be worth doing a manual VPS Update first.
If you sent it to the Quarantine try Extracting it that should trigger a scan.

It indeed is in Quarantine, so I’m going to wait for 48 hours and then do exactly what you said.
