Is Garmin Core Update Service Rootkit - Malware?

Avast popped up today stating ROOTKIT FOUND. Filename: SVC: Garmin Core Update Service; Rootkit name: Rootkit: hidden service. Recommends to delete now - or I can choose Ignore.

Is this truly malware? I have Garmin Service on my computer and when I turned computer on this morning, my firewall asked me if I wanted this service to run when my computer started, I checked it was OK to do so.

How do I know if it’s truly malware? Thank you.

Thank you. I am unable to find this exact file on my computer. Looking at Online Armour, my firewall where I allowed this program to install, I can see where the file is “supposed” to be located - it is not there. I see similar file names, but not the exact one that Avast is warning me about a Rootkit. Very confusing!

My Garmin GPS will certainly need updating at some point - but I am unsure about this Rootkit: hidden service. Advice? Thank you!
