Is it possible to disable Android recovery mode?

Hello, good morning. I have a couple of questions about Android security, although they aren’t directly related to Avast since they’re inherent to the Android system.

Firstly: Is it possible to disable the ‘recovery mode’ or can Avast do something to counteract this mode? Recently, my phone was stolen, but I recovered it within minutes with the police’s help. However, I’m left wondering what could have been done in that situation.

Secondly: it’s possible to protect against USB-based infections? In the context of theft, it’s common for thieves to take such actions. Does Avast have measures against this?

I’m aware that despite everything, there are limitations, and it’s logical. I’m asking out of ignorance.

It may have ben better to ask this question/subject title to google.

There are many hits and yes is the general answer, but there may be conditional issues in how it can be done, possibly if it isn’t in your possession.
