I purchased Avast Premium Security (Multi-Device) in March 2024. In June, due to work requirements, I installed VizRT software, which conflicted with Avast. I tried adding exceptions, but the issue persisted, so I had no choice but to uninstall Avast.
At the time, I wasn’t aware that auto-renewal was enabled. As a result, on March 12 this year, I received a notification that the payment had already been processed.
Since there is a 30-day money-back guarantee, I followed Avast’s official refund instructions. However, at the final step, instead of seeing the expected ‘We’re now processing your refund…’ page, I was redirected to a ‘Chatting with Avast’ window. No matter what I said, there was no response from the other side. I tried three times, and the same thing happened each time.
Can someone help me resolve this issue? I’d prefer not to contact my credit card company just yet.
