Is the new vision still sending international SMS？

I heard some people said that when they look at their phone bill ，they find out avast! Mobile Security send some international SMS.

I am worry about that,because it is very expensive to send a international SMS， very very expensive。

so if you do need to send something back ，please using the 3G internet ，please please please do not using SMS。

Hi,

it’s not Mobile Security that is (was) sending SMS, it’s Anti-Theft. As far as I know, the Anti-Theft didn’t get updated so nothing has changed in this matter I think.

Actually we updated our FAQ (https://support.avast.com/index.php?languageid=1&group=eng&_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=1034#idt_166), so you can find some information here; may be the next version of antitheft will receive a new option for this feature.
