Is there any AV that can check for keyloggers

Is there any anti-spyware or AV that can check for so-called legitimate keyloggers?

I think it does consumers a great diservice to have anti-virus that can’t either detect or clean even legitimate keyloggers running under stealth mode.

At the very least, an AV or anti-spyware should inform that a keylogger is present even if it’s not going to clean it since it is so called legitimate.

If there is any antivirus that will detect AND clean ALL legitimate keyloggers, please inform me. Upto now I refuse to pay for AV’s that only partially protect users by failing to detect and clean legitimate keyloggers. But I will gladly PAY the full price for an AV that will remove ANY keylogger operating under stealth mode.

Malwarebytes-Anti Malware is a very good program to protect your computer, nowadays i think avast free or premium is required, avast’s web shield can catch everything.!you can use both programs,w/o any good av like avast cybercriminals are there to clean out your bank account as symantec says, your pc also ;D

i strongly recommend avast+malware-bytes (my opinion)

MBAM won’t protect you against keyloggers. Here is a comparison chart of the various products that Avast offers: http://www.avast.com/comparison-chart.

No one product is going to make 100% guarantee. Therefore many people suggest layering your security defense. Your firewall may protect you again keyloggers as an example. Mine does as does my cloud-AV. I had an “incident” several months ago and my security set up saved me (I know who and from what country tried unsuccessfully to hack me).

Take a look at user’s Signatures to get an idea of what people are using for security software.

One way I try to stay potected is by using a password manager that is designed to keep one step ahead of keyloggers, the one I have found recently that works exceptionally well is Password Vault heres the web address if you want to have a look at it www.lavasoftware.com. I have purchased the pro addition, but there is a free download available as well.

I wish you would have asked before purchasing as I wouldn’t give hard disk space to AdAware free or pro, it used to be a great program. But it doesn’t seem to have kept pace with the malware of today and there are better free and paid options, such as MBAM mentioned above and SuperAntiSpyware (SAS).
