Is this a real Microsoft e-mail?

Hello everyone.

I just received an e-mail from this sender: onedrive@microsoftemails.com

It’s about the reduction of the space from Onedrive (from 15GB to 5GB).
The e-mail had no spelling mistakes (from what I remember).
I didn’t clicked on any links from the e-mail.

Virus total info: https://www.virustotal.com/pt/domain/onedrive@microsoftemails.com/information/

I would like to know if this is an e-mail from Microsoft or maybe a phishing e-mail.

Thank you.

If it was from microsoft i think it would be from @Microsoft.com not @microsoftemails

Edit: I’m going to ask microsoft on twitter for you just to be sure

Thank you a lot for doing that.
I searched on Google for the answer, but no success.

Do they answer questions on Twitter?

Microsofthelps on twitter don’t seem like they understand completely… I called microsoft customer service to ask them and they said if it was from them it would be from an @Microsoft.com e-mail address.

Are you sure its from microsoftemails and not from Microsoftmail.com? Microsoftmail.com redirects to outlook.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that is microsoftemails.
I just checked now to make sure of it.

Just for security, I’m scanning with my antivirus if there’s anything suspisious.

I received the same email.

So, it looks like it’s not an phishing e-mail, right?

did a whois check and it looks like the domain is not owned by microsoft
http://whois.domaintools.com/microsoftemails.com

the one owned by microsoft is "microsoftemail.com without the S at the end

Well, I have no idea if it’s some kind of phishing or not.
