On different computers i get a notification that my license is ending and that i have to pay for a new license.
i use avast because it is one of the few good free antivirus programs and i want to keep it.
i requested a free license and i got the code but i can’t enter it anywhere.
Avast free is always free, you just need to register it through maintenance/registration.
There is no need to install any code.
thats weird, it said to me on my pc and by my mother in law: your license has ended, do you want to buy a new one (we have the free version). the only thing we could do is go to the website to buy one, or get the trial version.
do you recommend reinstalling?
Probably wouldn’t hurt to re-install http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe and the removal tool http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility which you run in safe mode for all version ever installed after first uninstalling avast normally.
