I’m using the latest version of Avast IS. My problem is a bit difficult, I try to describe my problem.
I set up sandbox to run Firefox browser always in this protected sandbox shield.
At the beginning, when I tried to download a file while Firefox was protected by sandbox, the file did not appeared at the location where I wanted the file to be downloaded. And this happened with downloaded torrents too. (I clicked the torrent link, the torrent downloader application started in sandbox mode, and the Linux ISO seems to be downloaded, but not… nothing appeared at the download destination)
It was a bit annoying sometimes, but I was happy too, that I’m completely protected while browsing and downloading.
But now sandbox “changed his mind” and anything I download (while my browser is protected with sandbox) is appear at the download destination where I wanted the file to be downloaded.
What happened? I would like to get back the last state, when the files downloaded with sandboxed browser are not appeared at the destination, but probably in this sandbox “folder” only.
I already posted a similar thread with exactly the same problem: sometimes FFx downloads to the designated folsder, which in my case is the desktop and some other times the download appears at C:##aswSnx\private storage\web storage\etc.
Pk which is the main dev. for the sandbox already knows about this problem and I suppose, he is looking into it, but have not had received further notice from him.

PK Vlk and Lukor are out of the office at the moment, I suspect they are testing something off site as they did when developing avast 5 they spent some time at Microsoft. So PK won’t be as frequent a forum visitor as he has been recently.
Oh, so this is the answer to this secret. Sorry for this new thread. I hope we will get a solution sooner or later. Now I’m happy that this is not my PC’s fault
