I Have a recent problem after I installed avast I can’t see the network usage in task manager anymore. I am using windows 8.1 pro.
It gives me 0’s all the time even when there is activity.

I was able to see what apps are using my network before I install avast. I really need help for this.
What exact version of avast?
Did you remove your previous av before installing avast?
Did you try a repair?

This was the first av I have installed on my pc
Pc’s (for years) do come with a pre-installed av.
Windows 8.1 comes standard with Windows defender.
Is it disabled?
And again what exact version of avast?
for windows defender ( This app has been turned off and isn’t monitoring your computer ).
the exact version of avast is “Program version : 2015.10.0.2208”
Install version 2015.10.0.2209 and see if the problem is solved.
