Hello, everyone. I could not help but to notice that there’s a certai virus that’s attacking that cahnges the modem’s DNS’s and redirects certain pages to a “JAVA 8 update”, being the page an exact copy of the original JAVA website, but it’s in portuguese. If people downloads the “update” gets instantly a trojan. I got the DNS changer (yet did NOT download the “update”) and since I found very suspicious the re directing I ran a Full System Scan (I have Avast! Internet Security 8) and didn’t find it, yet confirmed it was a virus with my internet provider. So, I wonder if you could research about that virus, since it’s very annoying and potencially dangerous to not-so-careful customers that might download it, given that Avast! did not find the virus during the Full System Scan.
I got the problem solved by miself with no grave repercussions, yet I wanted to warn both users and developers about this one (in case you’re not aware yet) since I got those problems just today.
Thanks
