Just performed a quick virus test, and there are 3 items classed as Trojans, just wondered if they are false positives, and if not is it safe to delete them from the chest?

upload the file(s) to www.virustotal.com and test with 43 malware scanners
when you have the result, copy the URL in the address bar and post it here
is it safe to delete them from the chest?
jepp, since they are from temp folder they would have been deleted anyway if you had done a run with something like CCleaner
but there is no rush to empty the chest/quarantine, let it stay for 30 days before you do, just in case
I deleted many of the files in Windows/Temp but I have kept those 3 items in the Virus Chest, can I upload them from the chest?
One thing I thought strange was after Avast had found those items and I instructed it to put them into the chest I thought to have a look in the windows temp folder from where the came from, and low and behold I could see the same names files sitting there, so why would that be? anyway I manually deleted these even though it said they were in the Virus chest.
I see I am able to send these files to Alwil, would that be a better option?

Checking the dates on the files in Temp folder might show different dates than the dates than on the files in the Chest. So, if the files show up in the Temp folder again, try checking the dates.
