when is the sandbox issue with java/uac going to be fixed?happens on win 7 64 bit very annoying
I noticed the same thing and stopped virtualizing on my W7 64bit computer a few weeks ago.
they need to fix this soon.i dont want to shut off the sandbox(rely on sigs=losing battle).
I think we were told by pk or igor in another thread that this will be fixed in 5.1. Scrub that - I found the thread - it was about flash and sandbox.
pk: is this annoying problem fixed in the 5.1 beta?if not when?

i guess thats the only way to find out,i opened this topic a month ago and not a peep from a avast.probably isnt fixed.
Watch this topic if you aren’t already, http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=67141.0. So far it seems stable but early days yet.
thanks davidr,i was lookin through it but i didnt see anything about the problem i have being fixed so thats why i figured i would ask pk hoping he will respond?i like using avast(ais) and its sandbox but this java/uac problem is very annoying.my license expires in feb 2011 and i want to see if this is or its gonna be fixed?
Well I guess that would only crop up if someone else with the problem also installed the beta.
well davidr im trying the new beta and so far have not encountered this hopefully it will stay that way.
