I am currently using a mac, and avast keeps blocking an infection JS:Miner-E
How do I completely remove the infection, so the popup stops showing up? Also, I’ve run a full system scan and nothing has showed up.
The only tabs I have open are google.com and avast help forums.

Yes, I did that, but it’s still continuously blocked by Avast.
But now, it shows up only when I open Chrome or when I type in google.com

I have been having the exact same issue as described by reco.
I cleared Chrome cache and did a full system scan and am still getting this message when I visit multiple sites, including these forums:

Thanks for the tip. Is there any way to find out which extension it could be?

I checked my extensions and deleted the following: Streak CRM for gmail, Boomerang for gmail and Unseen for Facebook. I think it was Boomerang that was causing the issue since I had only added Boomerang recently.
I have not gotten the Avast notification so far.
Thanks for the help! ;D
