Junk Mail in Outlook 2007

Since installing the free Avast antivirus I have a problem with Outlook 2007. I open Outlook and the Junk Mail filter is off. I set it to “low” apply and get out of tools. The filter works. I check mail and close Outlook. When I open Outlook again, the Junk Mail filter is off. Only had this problem after I installed Avast Free Version.

Running on XP 32 bit all S/P installed
