-= Just a bit doubted..

-= For the first time, I’ll consider deleting some files in the chest… Though, I am doubted… If I delete the chest files, will it delete the infection on my computer or is it that the chest files are just copies of the original & deleting them would require me to hunt the original since I just deleted the copy in chest & not the original infection in my HD…?

-= Sorry, if my request is very confusing due to my bad english…

The files in the chest are the original files (they should be removed from their usual place and moved to the virus chest)
→ The infected file is only in your chest, nowhere else on your computer…

So if your computer had no problems during the files have been in the chest, there also shouldn’t be any problems after deleting them from the chest.

-= Thanks…

-= AVG sure gave me a lot of bad memories…

There is no rush to delete anything from the chest, a protected area where it can do no harm. Anything that you send to the chest you should leave there for a few weeks. If after that time you have suffered no adverse effects from moving these to the chest, scan them again (inside the chest) and if they are still detected as viruses, delete them.

Also don’t go near the System Files section of the Chest as you may be aware these are back-up copies of important system files; avast should replace them though.

-= Thanks for the tip…

You’re welcome.
