[*]When finished, it shall produce a log for you.
[*]Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.

Notes:

  1. Do not mouse-click Combofix’s window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
  2. Do not “re-run” Combofix. If you have a problem, reply back for further instructions.
  3. If after the reboot you get errors about programmes being marked for deletion then reboot, that will cure it.

Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now

Thanks so much for your help. My computer is running better. The pop ups are gone and I don’t have to work in safe mode anymore. I’ll attach half the OTL report to this post and the other half to the next post.

Again, thanks so much!

Here’s the second half of the OTL. I’m having to break it up because I kept getting errors that there were too many characters or that the file was too large.

Thanks again.

Could you attach the TDSSKiller log please, it will be at C:\TDSSKiller date time

Hello,

I found two of them. I’m sure I didn’t run it twice but it seems I got 1 before re-booting and 1 after re-booting.

Thanks again,

Kat

Thanks I have the right log now.

Re-run TDSSKiller with the same parameters
When you see the following select delete :

\Device\Harddisk0\DR0 ( TDSS File System )

Avast will alert as the files are moved

Once done can you let me know what problems remain

I ran TDSS and deleted the file you said. It found 3 threats, neutralized 1 threat and quarantined 12 objects. The computer seems like it’s running fine. Is there any possible threats left? Do you need to see the report from TDSS?

Thanks for all your help. You know I could have done nothing to help without you.

Kat Williams

Nope all I need to know now is if you have any further problems before I remove my tools and tidy up
