keep getting wpad.browersecurity.info error and JS redirect

after updating avast I constantly get browser errors with pop up.
Sluggish compared to before update and also get constant IE page fails to load, had to download Opera on USB to be able to browse.

I’m fairly technical so I can try most anything.

You haven’t posted Addition.txt log. It shoud be in same folder as FRST.txt.

This will automatically reboot your computer so save your work before this.

  • Open Notepad (click Start button → type notepad.exe → press Enter)
  • Copy text from code block below and paste it into Notepad
cmd: reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters" /v SearchList /d "" /f
cmd: bitsadmin /RESET /ALLUSERS
Reboot:
  • Go to File → Save As
  • Make sure that UTF-8 is selected as Encoding (left side of Save button)
  • Save it as fixlist.txt on Desktop
  • Open again FRST and click on button Fix
  • Wait until FRST finishes
  • fixlog.txt should be genereted and opened. Attach it your post and wait further instructions.
