Avast hasn’t updated in a couple of days is there no releases to virus base since the 16th…?
And today is the 18th… there is no schedule of updates, they are released as required and usually 3-4 per week at times this has been 3-4 a day during periods of high virus activity. Last week, we were on 0628-5, which made 6 updates for the week.
However, there has just been one released today 0629-0.
I would just like to add it was also another very large update as far as signatures. This makes me believe Avast is greatly trying to improve it’s detection rates, especially trojan detection. I don’t think AVG is doing this. And I can see Avast once again doing well in the av comapritives as a result.
