Hi, Been using AvastFree AV with Comodo FW/HIPs for ever. Usually work fine together. Yesterday updated Avast to version 2014.9.0.2013 through its internal updater. Straight off found I couldn’t open Comodo’s Virtual Kiosk (use it regularly). VK locks my system at the loading spinner. Can’t break out of lockup with Task Manager. Have to reset Windows.
Trial and error repeating the fault found that only disabling Avast’s shields prevents the problem. My version of Avast doesn’t have sandbox and I’m not doing nothing new with Comodo and haven’t added/deleted anything else, so out of ideas.
So…what have you done to Avast, eh? :-\
Any ideas to solve this conflict gratefully accepted…
