Latest update information is obsolete

Hello!
Can anybody tell me why the latest update information is obsolete on www.avast.com ? (On a period I’m writing this post the latest VPS installed on my system is 000716-2 dated 23.02.2007, but the web site shows 000716-1 dated 22.02.2007) see images below

Information about current update:
Total time: 21 s

  • Program: Already up to date
    (current version 4.7.942)
  • Vps: Already up to date
    (current version 000716-2)

Server: download65.avast.com (207.44.172.117)
Downloaded files: 3 (0.03 KB)
Download time: 1 s

this is what mine has too and its does show the 000716-1 on their website…might just be a time factor ::slight_smile: ???

Sometimes the web page is updated after (or maybe some time after) the VPS update is released
This has happened and before, but don’t worry , the VPS update is more important that the web page update

thanks Xmas for the reply…that’s what i meant by the time factor( i just didn’t explain it in detail) ???
have a good one my friend

Thanks drhayden1 and XMASS for you replies

It may only have been VPS corrections, the ‘Downloaded files: 3 (0.03 KB)’ would tend to indicate that.

Hi David & thanks for reply, maybe you are right.

I guess the fact that corrections don’t have any data (new detections) to place in the web page, is why it may be left off.

The web page is already updated (the VPS has been updated as well - the latest one is 000716-3)
