Try the avast support site. You will learn many things : http://support.avast.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=view
Also read the help file(Click on help center icon in avast gui-see pic), you will learn more about the product.
Follow this forum topic : http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=52252.1125 (collection by forum members)
Try the general topics section : http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=1.0 (You will find some interesting topics)
Welcome fivestars to the forum. Most people start out as newbies and learn a lot. In fact, we never stop learning since technology is always changing. As mentioned in the previous post, browse around, read the various posts in the different sections of the forum, and always feel free to ask questions. We are here 24/7 and are a friendly group. Welcome aboard.
Welcome to avast forums! Feel free to come back any time you need help or just to change experiences 8)
Aside from the things already mentioned, leave your avast version on the default settings (until you become more familiar with the program), they provide the best compromise between protection and performance.
Take the time to have a rummage through the avastUI open that different sections and see just how configurable avast is (so you have to exercise care too). If in an area of the avastUI you click the F1 key (or Help Center) it will open the avast help at the section relevant to where you are in the UI; so you can get a good idea of what the settings and options are.
Welcome to the forums.
I have found myself learning by asking and just foraging around the forum. There have been many times that someone has asked a question that has occurred to me. You will find that the people on this forum are for the most part polite and patient. If nothing else reading the topics will bring a lot of information to anyone. BTW welcome to the forum. And most of all enjoy the avast protection. Avast seems to be ever evolving.
Thanks to all of you and i will use those advise in the future I feel in good hand with Avast ,more than other security suite and god knows I did try many.
