Sorry your right should have included these details in the OP. licence in Question is Avast Clean up. All other options are working. only when attempting to we online activation does a error message come up. when attempting to activate on Premier, it. gets stuckattempting to activate.

Personally I would not use the telephone support as it is provided by a 3rd party service not directly by avast.
