license is expiring, facebook connected, but cannot renew licence

hi,

my avast! free licence is about to expire soon. however, if i click on the facebook button on the registration screen, i get redirected to the avast device/licence management subsite, and nothing happens. i’ve tried a few things, yet i cannot seem to renew my licence. so what do i do now?

If all else fails do a clean re-install.
Several other users have had this same issue and had to resort to a clean install.
