License keys, registration code etc contains virus?

Hey guys, so I had seen many online posts of license key for various software (application) and I’m curious whether are there such thing as malware/viruses that somehow could harm your computer when you use those keys on the software?

Back then I had tried using those license keys for an software and it couldn’t work… so from then all I did was to purchase it via IT stores… but recently I saw this software license key which many people had commented that it work so I decided to give it a try and wow… its works, I meant like… isn’t license key dedicated to specific amount of uses? The key I saw (On YouTube) had huge amount of people using that license key… and if there is such key viruses, could avast remove it?
Anyway don’t be mistaken please, I’m doing it and asking this question because I’m curious on how it works! Not for piracy interests!!

Summarize: Could license keys (Just the code, digit, no keygen software or whatever its called) harm your computer, Virus/malware etc. AND How does license keys work? why some keys could be used in a huge amount of times?

yes, those nice guys thet give away cracked keys/programs for free often bundle it with a extra program they dont tell you about .... and many take the bait ;) and using cracked software/keys is considered stealing. Many malware removal forums offer no help to those that use cracked software/keys

These keys dont work as long as adverticed, those who own the affected software scan the net for cracked keys and when found, block them

Oh yeah I know those software to generate keys will often contains viruses… that is why I purchase software instead lol, but what about those that just shows keys on the website (simply copy and paste the license, no key software to download)? And how can so many people use the same key over and over again…
