License Question

I’m currently testing out the Avast Standard Suite on our network and I’m loving it so far. We are using Symantec right now and one issue I have with it is the licensing. We originally purchased 10 licenses and 6 months later we needed a few more which required an additional license with a different expiration date. After I installed it it was telling me there is a license violation as it assigned some of the new licenses to the computers using the older/current licenses. Very annoying.

Which brings me to my questions, say we buy 20 licenses now, but for unforeseen reasons we need to buy 5 to 10 more 2, 4 or 8 months from now, what is the procedure for adding those licenses? Do I contact Avast and get a new license to include all clients? Would I get a separate license for the new clients? Can you tell it what client gets what license? Of course I could buy extras in the beginning, but I can only see so far ahead with this company.

My company recently added workstations & the vendor gave us a new license file with more workstations and servers in it. You’ll have to ask your vendor, but they’ll probably do the same thing. :slight_smile:
