Had to reformat my pc. I requested my license and recieved a copy of what appears to be a copy of a reciept. It won’t let me save it anywhere to install it. My license is good until 4/2013. Did they send me the wrong thing? I requested it three times and got the same email. Need help please.
You failed to mention if you have free, Pro or AIS. If it’s the free version all you need to do is register. If it’s Pro or AIS and you need avast to resend the license see http://www.avast.com/resend-license-paid.php

Click on the link I provided. Then report back.
When you install AIS click on the “insert license” button.
The license should be in your download folder.
