I recently ran a thorough AV scan of my hard drive. Avast listed a total of 57 unscanable files–several of which were identified as corrupted. Of the latter, Avast was unable to either repair, delete, move to the “chest”, or force a move to a specified location. Any suggestions on how I should proceed? Thanx.
Yes - ignore them.
The message from avast! that an archive is corrupted is mostly just an information for you that it was unable to unpack the archive and check its content - it certainly doesn’t mean that the file is infected!
So, it may not be a good idea to try to delete or move them.
