I am finaly converted to the Open Source Community and as an introduction to everyone I started a blog which talks about my project for the Open Source Community. The adress is: http://linuxstrategies.blogspot.com/
Please feel free to spread the word ;D
And also to give me feedback
The Forum has not been created yet, thats the point of the blog, to get the public’s attention and it will be used as a fundraiser to cover all starting expenses. By the way, what do you think for the domain name ?
Thanks

Why do you need funds to start a website and/or a blog when there are many free hosts available?
Google is just one. Runboard offers free forums ( http://com2.runboard.com/bbob3160theforum )
It does take a lot of time and dedication but money is usually the smallest ingredient. :)
Ok i understand now. The domain name is catchy i like it ! Don’t change it ! A small suggestion for your blog: Can you change the “visited links” color in your distrowatch.com news section from that dark grey to something brighter ? They are not very visible because the background color is also pretty dark:
See what i mean ? The upper links(in red) are not yet visited links and the lower ones(in dark grey) are already visited links …
Listen i am no expert linux hAx0r or anything like that but i am willing to share the things i’ve learned so far about linux , maybe i could write a few howto’s, add a few good links or help out a new linux user in need of assistance when you get your forum up and running. Be sure to post here when the forum is operational.
Another thing … Are you planning to also add an off topic section to your forum ? Or you intend to keep it strictly linux related talk ?
@Bob: Hehe i completely forgot about that forum of yours … ;D
