i have to do a project[mini project]…due in two days ???
and i was kinda hoping one of u guys could help me out a bit here wit some ebooks and stuff

well i am thinking of implementing a shell to do simple commands like moving,writing deleting files …but give my own commands instead of the built in ones

i am not asking u guys to Do my project or any things i was jus asking some one for some help thats it…i thought u guys had nice exposure … if u dont want to jus dont read this post …so tell me frank have all people u have helped taken ur dog for a walk.?
with u i guess a good fence will help thy neighbors.so if u help me out i mend ur fence… may be u prefer i put some barb wire also… jus let me know…

guy i have a RED HAT version it’s quite old is it any good???
The only tricky part of installation is resizing the Windows partition to make room for Linux- assuming you want to keep Windows. If you have any bad sectors on your disk, Linux is a bit fussy about doing this automatically, and you have to force it.
It’s more important to check which distro works best with you hardware: the first one I tried didn’t work with my sound card at all.
Googling for ‘Implement a Linux shell for a set of commands’ produces some tutorials, ‘how to’ and examples:
