Locals Settings gone again =Z URGENT!!!

I restarted my computer as it froze which hasn’t happened in a while… When I clicked my windows account thing, it said somthing about local setting. Press ok etc. I got to my desktop and everything was cleared, just Avast, Gladinet Cloud Desktop, Soldier Front (Shortcut to site) and Teamviewer 4 and recycle bin stayed on desktop. I had just finally finished downloading a game, First time it couldn’t reconnect, 2nd time internet cut out, 3rd time when it’s finished this happens… Lucky me >.<

I went to look for my local settings but it was not there, I had this problem once or twice before. It came back after a few days but I don’t know why.

When it froze I press alt, ctrl, del and There was a process - DumpRep.exe

This does quite an impact on me. Firefox add ons gone, history gone, bookmarks, Downloads that I needed to put on.

Anyone got anything on this. And if I do system restore, will it delete what I downloaded already?

mm… After searching on google, I found that I had to uncheck the hide option in the tools in windows explorer. I dunno what triggered them to change in the first place though.

Perhaps, sometimes windows explorer stops responding, you know, So I end it. But it might undo the settings or something?
