I have gone through all steps in the tred, but I’m still not able to detect servers when I open ADNM.
I have installed on a SBS2003 premium with SQL2005. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have changed the installation and made it create the DB.
I have just now upgraded to sql2005 SP3 to see if that would help, but no.
I’m able to connect to the DB in SQL server management studio.
Sorry, I didn’t check any log. I thought it would work as supposed.
Is it possible to find this log somewhere?
Anyway. All of a sudden there came up a box asking me to accept the certificate once or permanently. I accepted it permanently, but still there was no server listed. I tried to detect once more, but still nothing.
Just to try i typed in the password and everything started to list up in the back of the login box. I then “Xed out” the login box and everything works fine. I’m able to create install packages, detect machines and roll out to the clients. On the clients everything works fine as well.
The only thing is that the server is not showing when I’m opening ADNM to log in (It does to most of my other customers, at some others I have to detect), the serverlist is blank when I try to detect, I can log in even if the server is not in showing, I have to close the login box and every now and then the certificate box shows up and asks to confirm the certificate.
yeah, run the setup again, then before you close the failed setup, you can open the log with a button i believe (dont remember where since its been a while i had to install adnm)
if u are in the position to reinstall you have to delete the certificates and the database itself too, also use the avast uninstaller to uninstall on that particular server
