Hi, I had to reinstall Avast today but I wasn’t even aware that Passwords was no longer supported. Now I can no longer access any of my passwords in the Passwords Chrome app, and this new “Avast One Free” version that’s been installed is very different, the instructions I’ve found on how to export your passwords don’t work on this version. I really need a way to get Avast Passwords working again, at least long enough to export all my passwords. Any help would be appreciated.
Follow the instructions offered here,

Thanks for your response. I checked my settings for such an option but unfortunately there is no “add/modify components” or similar like what is described in that post.
Since I reinstalled by downloading the latest free version from the Avast site, the interface is a lot different from what I’m used to with the previous versions I’ve had. I suspect that because Avast Passwords is no longer supported, all settings related to it have been removed from this latest version?
Open the Avast user interface once open, do the following,
Select Menu> Settings> Troubleshooting> Scroll down till you see the following,

Select ADD/Modify Components and you’ll see something like

Make sure you select Passwords (old) then hit CHANGE
When it finishes, reboot the system.
Before I reinstalled, Avast looked like it does in your pictures, however since reinstalling, the whole program looks quite different. Here’s a screenshot of part of my Settings menu as an example:

As you can see, the settings are quite similar but the Add/Modify Components button is conspicuously missing. I did double check that I hadn’t downloaded some other version, but I appear to now have the only free version that’s available from the Avast website.
Hi, Avast One is a new product (currently only available in Australia).
You can download the regular Avast Free here: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup_offline.exe

Hi,
You will need to install Avast Free Antivirus

You can PM (private message) me if you need further assistance.
Thanks for your help, everyone. Avast Passwords is working again with the regular version of Avast Free.
You’re welcome.
