I have just renewed avast for my computer. However, the e-mail address has changed since my last purchase last year and the activation code has been sent to an e-mail I can no longer access. Unfortunately the form was already filled in and I did not realize the mistake
I would really appreciate yout help
First I don’t work for Avast but an Avast Antivirus Free user for many years.
Is your Avast Account using the same email address of old (?) or the new one, as you should be able to change that in your Account Settings. But I can’t confirm that.

Can I change the e-mail address I use to log in to my Avast Account? - also related to your forum email address - https://support.avast.com/article/210/#idt_090
Sales change order details wrong email address given, etc. - Submit a support ticket You could try this to see if sales can track down your order - *** alternative question/issue *** Submit a support ticket Contact Avast Support - Avast Phone Number, and Chat Support *** -
Subscription Help or Billing issue is possibly the option you need.
Give as much information that you can to help track down your payment and reissue the license if it has gone to an incorrect email address. Pretty much what you have here, plus email address that you shouldn’t give in a public forum.
Thankyou very much @DavidR. I have changed my avast account to include the old email as well as the new one but as I do this it it will ask me to verify the old mail by accessing it, which of course I can’t do. Maybe support can help.
You’re welcome.
I think you will have to try that support link I gave and follow it through to those sections outlined in my screenshot.
To avoid this kind of situation, a new user should systematically open an avast account with the e-mail address used at the time of purchase or trial.
If utente95 had done this a year ago with his old address, he could still log into his account today to change the address.
Better still - and avast should implement this to avoid typing or deliberate errors in the e-mail address given - the activation code should be supplied only after verification of the e-mail address (and not by e-mail or worse - when it’s a trial - automatically without even an e-mail).
