I am an Avast Premier member and recently added the Avast Cleanup feature lastnight. I lost internet connection directly after performing a scan/cleanup using the Avast Cleanup tool. My operating system is windows 10 and I am hardwired (Ethernet cable) to modem. I tried to switch to wifi but that did not work either. It recognizes the wifi is there but I can not connect. The wifi is functioning as I have multiple devices connected to it. I called customer support right after it happened and I explained my case. He told me that the cleanup did not cause my computer to lose connectivity. It is very obvious to me that it did cause it. I was told to buy the $179 package to speak to tech support. The phone call abruptly ended shortly after that. Any help is appreciated.
