Would like to know how someone who uses Comodo 5.3 firewall & Avast 6.0…, is able to get them to work together & play nice. The earlier edition of Avast 5 series was more compatible. On the Avast 6.01044 install I put the D+ security into the training mode thinking that would help. It did not, when I clicked on the Firefox 4.0 icon — it whirred away & gave me a connection reset message. Any ideas would be welcome. Am using windows xp service pk.3 & Comodo 5.3.
After a program update, components will have changed so your firewall might/should ask permission.
Does it allow avastSvc.exe internet access ?
- If it does delete the entry for it and reconnect to the internet, this should force the firewall to ask permission again.
