i’ve searched the net for solutions but nothing for my problem. If no solution then i have to reformat but hopefully someone can help me :
3 days ago when i came back from school and booted my computer Avast told me that i had a trojan in System32/ :
“lspak.dll Win32: Trojans - 369 [Trj]”
I wanted to delete it but it couldnt so i was asked to delte the trojan from boot stage.
Since i didnt know what the file was really about i agreed and at boot stage avast scaned my comp and found only that file which was infected.
I should have asked it to clean it or disinfect, but i went for deletion since it was a trojan or so i think it is.
I reboot my comp and then Avast cant work because my internet isnt working because i delted the lspak.dll in system32 folder. So in result Avast cant function and my Start Menu is gone and there are no icons and my 1.6 Ghz comp is super slow.
I tried the LSPFix.exe however it fixes the lspak.dll but i have already delted it. I really hope that there is a more efficent solution than formatting my harddrive.
Thanks in advance.

Well i used HijakThis and used it to fix the lspak.dll it seems like it worked so that a good thing, but i started getting some otehr random trojans. In any case here is the HT.log:
Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7
Scan saved at 1:53:47 PM, on 25/09/2004
Platform: Windows XP (WinNT 5.01.2600)
MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP1 (6.00.2600.0000)
The log is clean, but I see your XP is not up to date. I suggest you visit Windows Update and get/install at least all security updates/patches.
In the log I also don’t see a firewall running. If you don’t have a router with firewall I strongly suggest you get one, or at least get a software firewall.
